Tekken Advance

Translation: Iron Fist Advance
If theres anything that Advance is greatly benefitting from, its fighting games. Every fighting game is solid so far, but can Tekken join the ranks? Its time to compare and contrast. The first thing you'll notice before you start playing is all the modes to choose from, this game even beats Street Figher 2 Turbo Revival for modes offered. Sure you got your basic Arcade, Survival and Time Attack, these modes should be standard for all fighters now. Thats not all, what separates this game from all the other fighters is the excellent Tag Mode, where you can pick up to three characters and switch them during the fight. The graphics are sharp and the animations are really smooth. Surprisingly, even with all the modes, this game lacks replay value. The game gives you everything up front and theres nothing to unlock. The game does save your records if you're playing for bragging rights and thats about it. If you know someone else who has this game, you will have a lot of fun with this one, especially with tag. On the otherhand, nothing to unlock cripples this game to a 6.5. Its still worth picking up, if you can get it for a great deal.
