Racing Gears Advance

RC Pro AM + Gran Turismo = This
Lets start out by saying that Racing Gears Advance is one of the best racing games for the GameBoy Advance. Racing Gears Advance takes classic gameplay elements and updates them to today's standards. This racer is solid on all fronts, there are no flaws. The computer will put up a good race, attacking players and taking shortcuts found in courses. The game design, level design and all the thought that has been put into Racing Gears Advance is mind boggling. Light a oil spill on the road with a flamethrower and the puddle will be flaming. The level design is one of Racing Gears Advance greatest strengths, theres rarely a straightaway. Racers will go through so many twists, turns, jumps, hazards that make every Racing Gears Advance race one to remember. Even the early races take a few tries to master. The audio is something else, you'll hear rivals spin out and a heat seeking missle on your tail. Exciting techno tracks with retro flavor get your adrenline pumping. The one thing that may bother some is the top down perspective, even though you do have enough time to prepare for the turn, it does take a few tries to memorize the level. At the end of each race, money is earned to buy new upgrades, weapons, tires and make repairs if necessary. Unlike other games, in Racing Gears Advance you can feel the upgrade while racing. Tires will perform better in various weather conditions, nitros will last longer. With all this action and smooth fast action, Racing Gears Advance is one of the finest GameBoy Advance offerings to date.
