Advance Wars

Advance Wars is a very deep game with many modes to choose from. The game itself is highly addictive. But what do you do in the game? First off its a turn based game, you move, build and join units on the battlefield. Your Infantry can takeover cities for more war funds and captured cities then become a healing zone for wounded units. It can't be a war without any action, once you send a unit to attack an enemey's a cut scene plays showing the result of the battle. Every unit has different strenghs, weaknesses, primary and secondary weapons. The battlefield also plays an important role in this game like it does in other tactics games. If you drive your tank through the forest it will have higher defenses and lower movement then if you were to drive it on the road. There are also many unit types, they come in land, air and sea. Also each type has different kinds of units, like for example air has bombers, jets, helicopters and transport copters. There are also tons of things to buy with money earned from every mission that'll keep players busy for a long while. From new maps to characters. The game also has 4 player multiplayer support. It has single cartridge but is pretty limited, you would want to get this with some friends to really enjoy it. The only drawback is that wars can take hours to complete. During these battles you have to make sure everyone is comfortable and the link cables are free from getting caught to make sure they stay connected. All in all, Advance Wars should be in everyone's library and you won't want to miss it.
