This is one of the games that I would really want to be portable and now it is. The GameBoy Advance version has just about everything the original has, like a free mode, where you can just build a city for fun. The Scenario mode where you must use your power as a mayor to turn the city around from a disaster. Most of the time you will spend watching your city grow and once in a while a disaster such as an alien invasion or a fire will wipe out a few zones. In such disasters you must use your fire departments or police departments for riots. Not only do you have to worry about disasters, but also pollution, crime, taxes and city ordinances. Citizens will also need their utilities such as roads, power lines and water. As years past, there will be some new innovations and other marvels to build. You'll also earn awards that will be built in your honor. There is a lot to do in Sim City and don't forget to balance that budget.
